Simple Willow Works keeps this policy deliberately plain.

It covers the little data this site touches, why we touch it, and the rights you have over it.

The site itself stores no personal data.

If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we receive what you chose to send — typically your name, your address for correspondence, and the content of your message.

Your details are used for exactly one thing: answering you and handling whatever you asked about.

We do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for, and we do not share your details with advertisers.

We run no trackers.

One browser setting is saved locally — the fact that you dismissed our notice — and deleting it simply brings the notice back.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

It is disclosed only if the law obliges us to, and to no one else.

We keep your messages while the conversation is live and delete them when it is over, unless a legal obligation requires a longer period.

Access, correction, deletion, and objection to any use — all of these are yours to request, free of charge.

One message to hello@simple-willow-works.com is enough.

Your correspondence lives in an ordinary, access-protected mailbox, readable only by the people who need to answer you.

When you place an order or book a garden-party delivery, we keep the delivery address and the date of the event only for as long as needed to plan and complete it. This information is not reused for any later order without you giving it again, even for a returning customer — a fresh confirmation each time avoids sending flowers to an old address by mistake.

Monthly subscribers have a simple recurring record — name, delivery address, and preferred day — kept only while the subscription is active. Pausing or cancelling removes the delivery schedule; past order history is kept briefly for accounting purposes only, generally no longer than the tax year in which the last delivery was made.

Simple Willow Works is based in Numazu, Shizuoka, and handles personal information under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI, 個人情報保護法). We only process what is needed to fulfil an order or answer an enquiry, and we do not ask for anything beyond a name, a delivery detail, and a way to reach you.

In the unlikely event that order or correspondence data is accessed without authorisation, anyone affected is told without unnecessary delay, along with what happened and what is being done about it. Japan’s Personal Information Protection Commission (個人情報保護委員会) would also be notified where the law requires it.

This page is updated only when something about how data is actually handled changes, not on a fixed schedule. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last touched, and a meaningful change will be flagged here rather than folded quietly into the existing wording.

Simple Willow Works does not build a profile of visitors, does not run behavioural advertising, and does not pass browsing information to any third-party analytics or advertising network. The only thing this site remembers locally is whether you have already closed the cookie notice, and that preference lives in your browser, not on any server we control.
